摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure suitably suppressing tensile force to a base isolation member with a space-saving mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A base isolation structure 1 is obtained by mounting a laminated rubber 11 to the base 2 by a mounting part 12. The mounting part 12 is formed by bending a steel plate 12a in a hook shape at an inside end located at a plane center side of the laminated rubber 11. The inside end is joined to a sidewall of a recess 21 provided at an upper surface of the base 2 at a position in contact with a part in the vicinity of the plane center of the laminated rubber 11. An outside end positioned at a side opposite the plane center side of the laminated rubber 11 is joined to a lower surface of an outer peripheral part of a lower flange 112 of the laminated rubber 11. When large tensile force is applied to the laminated rubber 11, the outside end of the steel plate 12a mounted to the lower flange 112 is deformed so as to float and incline upward toward the outside.
