METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING AIR-FUEL RATIO OF LPG ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a composition of an LPG to be used each time without a rise in cost to perform preferable air-fuel ratio control for an LPG engine.

SOLUTION: In an air-fuel ratio control method for an air-fuel ratio control device that continuously detects a state of an exhaust gas via an exhaust property detection means provided in an exhaust pipe of an LPG engine to regulate a fuel injection rate by means of feedback control, the air-fuel ratio control device executes a predetermined operation to cause a change in an output signal of the exhaust property detection means, and on the basis of the change, determines a fuel composition of the currently used LPG by a predetermined determination method to reflect the result to subsequent control.
