<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin-type friction stir tool, by which a joint portion excellent in joint quality can be manufactured without the need for special control equipment for swell and flexure in a joint material, in case of the application of a bobbin-type friction stir. <P>SOLUTION: A bobbin-type friction stir tool has: a pair of rotating bodies arranged mutually at a predetermined interval; and a stirring shaft provided on the pair of rotating bodies. When the bobbin-type friction stir tool is fixed to a rotary shaft of an apparatus, a mechanism is used which is characterized in that: the mechanism can transmit a rotative power of the apparatus to the tool and allows the tool to move in a direction of the stirring shaft; and the mechanism is arranged between the tool and the rotary shaft of the apparatus and transmits the rotative power of the apparatus to the tool through a plurality of point contacts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
