The home-automation system comprises a first electrical appliance and a control device, integrated into said first electrical appliance and provided with means of connection to a mobile telephone network. During installation of the home-automation system, the control device carries out the following steps, following connection of the electrical appliance to an electrical power supply; reception (E2), through the mobile telephone network, of a startup control message originating from a first command terminal, said message containing a telephone number associated with the first terminal, storage (E3) of the telephone number of said first command terminal; allocation (E3) of a role of administrator of the home-automated system to the first command terminal. |
