The present disclosure provides methods, apparatus, computer software and computer program products for use in relation to changing radio capability of user equipment. Embodiments include in response to a change of radio capability of a user equipment during active mode connection of the user equipment, transmitting, at the user equipment, a radio resource control, RRC, related signalling message including information regarding a change of radio capability of the user equipment to a base station during active mode connection. Embodiments include receiving, at a base station, a radio resource control, RRC, related signalling message including information regarding a change of radio capability of user equipment during active mode connection, the RRC related signalling message having been received in response to a change of radio capability of the user equipment during active mode connection of the user equipment.
