<p>A control unit (10) of an induction heating apparatus has first and second oscillation circuits (7a, 7b) alternately driven, and has input current values respectively increased/decreased by each predetermined timing such that values detected by means of an input current detection circuit (8) are average input power values respectively set by means of an operation unit (12), and the control unit variably controls a drive time ratio and a cycle time of the first and the second oscillation circuits (7a, 7b) such that a quantity of a power change generated each time when the drive switching is performed between the first and the second oscillation circuits (7a, 7b) is a predetermined quantity or less, thereby operating the induction heating apparatus at the drive time ratio, cycle time, and the input current to which a current is to be controlled, said drive time ratio and cycle time having been determined on the basis of a combination of the set average input power values.</p> |
