The device has suction openings (51, 52) for suction of particles separated by centrifugal force separators (47, 48, 147, 148), from an air flow. A partition wall (44) is arranged between the centrifugal force separators and the suction openings. The partition wall comprises round holes (61, 64) connecting the centrifugal force separators with the suction openings in a gas-conductive manner. The holes are formed such that low pressures are produced at the centrifugal force separators. The centrifugal force separators are arranged in series in a flow direction of the air flow.
