PURPOSE: A reactor of a sponge titanium manufacturing facility is provided to cool a reacting device by absorbing heat with an indirect cooling method using an air current, thereby preventing the generation of scales in advance. CONSTITUTION: A furnace of a sponge titanium manufacturing facility comprises a reacting device, a heating member, an insulation unit, and a first cooling member. The reacting device provides a space where TiCl_4 and Mg are reacted. The heating member heats the inside of the reacting device. The insulating unit receiving the reacting device in the inside is charged with an insulating material. The first cooling member passes through a space between the insulating unit and the reacting device and cools the reacting device by using both ends exposed to outside. |
