Auto-aligning ablating device

An ablation device is described which comprises an ablation structure and a support structure adapted to support the ablation structure within an alimentary tract of a patient. The support structure includes, in one implementation, a longitudinal support with a longitudinal axis and a rotational support. The rotational support is adapted to permit at least a part of the ablation structure to move with respect to the longitudinal support's longitudinal axis.
