APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A GUI (Graphic User Interface) supplying method and a device thereof are provided to improve user convenience by changing shapes of icons having a high usage frequency into shapes with good visibility. CONSTITUTION: An input unit (110) receives a manipulation request of a user and a display unit (140) displays icons manipulated by the manipulation request on the screen. A data storage unit (130) stores information about the usage frequency of the icons. A control unit (120) applies the information about the usage frequency of the icons to change shape of the icons. The control unit changes the shapes of the icons after accumulating the usage frequency of the icons within a set time.
