PURPOSE: A variable roof device is provided to conveniently prevent exposure on moisture of an article without additional use of a movable shelter by moving along a roof of a factory in rain. CONSTITUTION: A variable roof device comprises a variable roof(100), a cylinder device(200), and a guide rail(300). The variable roof installed on a roof(11) crossly reciprocates and comprises a cylindrical roller on one end. The cylinder device comprises a cylinder(210), a wall side hinge(220), and a variable roof hinge(230). The wall side hinge is pressurized by the cylinder and reciprocates at a predetermined angle. The variable roof hinge is fixed to the front side surface of the variable roof and moves the variable roof by being pressurized by the cylinder. The guide rail is installed on both ends of the roof and guides a path of the roller when the variable roof is moved.
