PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coupler capable of maintaining reliability as the optical fiber coupler as against a change in an environmental temperature. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber coupler 101 housing a base material 120 fixed with a melt stretching part 111 of the optical fiber 110 into a protective tube 130 and sealing both ends of the protective tube by sealing materials 130, both ends of the protective tube are provided with buffer mechanisms 131.
