PURPOSE: A fuel cell system is provided to effectively maintain the temperature of a reactor and to effectively increase the temperature of a reactant. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell system(100) comprises a fuel modifier(140) and a valve assembly(150). The fuel modifier is formed to generate hydrogen using fuel(11), water(12), and air(13). The fuel modifier comprises a first heat exchanger arranged between an autothermal reformer(142) and a high temperature aqueous gas conversion reactor; and a second heat exchanger(190b) arranged between the high temperature aqueous gas conversion reactor and low temperature aqueous gas conversion reactor(145). The valve assembly controls flux of water supplied to the first and second heat exchangers from a water pump(120), through a plurality of valves. |
