<p>The method involves regenerating a particle filter at two different durations. Pressure losses (10, 12) are determined according to exhaust gas volume throughput crossing the filter. A curve (18) of the pressure loss is determined for the particle filter by linear regression formula including pressure loss, the throughput and regression constants. An intersection point (14) of the pressure loss curve is determined with an engine load curve (22) i.e. full load curve. Pressure loss of the intersection point is compared with a pressure loss threshold. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a state of clogging of a particle filter of an exhaust line of an engine of a car.</p> |
