PURPOSE: A transmitter using an interval delta-sigma modulation method and its signal generation method are provided to increase encoding efficiency or amplification efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter includes a polar converter (110), an interval delta-sigma modulator (120), a mixer (130) and a power amplifier (160). The polar converter separates an amplitude signal and a phase signal from a baseband signal. The interval delta-sigma modulator of 1-bit delta-sigma modulates or bypasses the amplitude signal according to a reference level. The mixer mixes the phase signal including an amplitude component and the envelope signal including a frequency component and transmits the phase signal to a DAC (140). The power amplifier amplifies the mixed signal.
