The gravure printing unit has a pressure cylinder (2) which is supported by pivot element (1). A splash guard (4) is provided in the region of pivot element to prevent splashes. A clamping element (5) is arranged on the pivot element for transmitting a clamping force with respect to splash guard. The splash guard and pressure cylinder are rotated relative to each other.
