The present invention consists in a method for packing meat products, where an outer basket and an inner basket are used, this latter element having suitable characteristics to be located within the outer basket. The application of this method is intended to preserve the product during the normal conditions of manipulation in the transportation thereof, for example, from the supplier facilities to the distributer facilities, avoiding a sudden opening of the packing, which may generate condensation and degradation of the products or the contact with external agents and pollutants. In such a manner the invention facilitates the product to be subjected to freezing air currents in the surface zone and the bottom of a lower basket where it is stored. The aforementioned process is achieved by the presence of windows arranged in the perimeter bottom walls of the basket, which are aligned for allowing the freezing air streams to flow in a free manner. Said method allows the inner baskets to b e reused while these preserve the integrity of the packing, avoiding the generation of rubbish and disposal of materials with no added value for the packed product.
