<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity control device and a humidity control method in the humidity control device including humidity controllers that have functions of adsorbing and desorbing moisture and are positioned in two air trunks and driven to repeatedly and mutually move between the two air trunks at prescribed cycles by which reduction in dehumidifying and humidifying capabilities by heat exchange induced between the air trunks via the humidity controllers is decreased. <P>SOLUTION: The humidity control device includes: a temperature determining unit 35 that determines whether a temperature difference in gas flowing in both of air trunks at positions of humidity controllers 90 is smaller than a prescribed value; a humidity controller drive unit 91 driving the humidity controllers 90 mutually between the air trunks at a predetermined cycle; and a humidity controller drive control unit 33 controlling the drive of the humidity controller drive unit 91. The humidity controller drive control unit 33 does not change the cycle of driving the humidity controllers 90 between the air trunks if the temperature determining unit 35 determines the temperature difference is not smaller; and if the difference is determined as to be smaller, the humidity controller drive control unit controls the humidity controller drive unit 91 to reduce the drive cycle of the humidity controllers 90 between the air trunks so as to enhance the humidity control capability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
