PURPOSE: A billiard game progressing and record keeping system is provided to easily store information about succeeded or failed positions and ball hitting points for a player a billiard club during a billiard game progress, and to check the stored position information after the completion of the billiard game. CONSTITUTION: A billiard game progressing and record keeping system(100) comprises an input unit(110), a game setup unit(120), a data processing unit(130), a data storage unit(131), an output unit(140), an image capturing unit, and an image recognition processing unit. The data storage unit includes a position image list which simplifies and illustrates the arrangements of billiard balls. The data processing unit stores images and the information of players which are selected by matching the images with the information of the players, and accumulates the images by dividing the images which are transmitted from the image capture unit into succeeded positions and failed positions when a billiard game is progressed. The data processing unit matches at least one image for a position among the accumulated succeeded positions and failed positions with a corresponding player, and stores the matched information after the billiard game is finished. The data processing unit is input through the input unit with scores of a player, and separates the failed positions from the transmitted images among the images which are transmitted when an inning is completed.
