PURPOSE: A folding ladder is provided to allow a user to stably work and vertically move by gripping the folding ladder with hands. CONSTITUTION: A folding ladder comprises a pair of legs, a handrail unit, a sliding prevention pad, and a length control rod(7). The legs include a predetermined interval and comprises a vertical member(4) in which a plurality of scaffolds(3) is arranged. The handrail unit includes the predetermined interval and is installed in the vertical member in a longitudinal direction. The handrail unit comprises a protraction pipe(5) in order to protract a length. The sliding prevention pad is installed on the upper surface of the scaffold, and the length control rod is fixed to the vertical member.
