<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music score plate-supporting structure capable of reducing the size of an opening part penetrated by a supporting tool which is formed in a musical instrument body or the like and capable of improving the appearance of the musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The music score plate-supporting structure includes: a music score plate 40 which can rotate centering on a rotation supporting point 41; a supporting rod 60 in which a music score plate side connection part 61 at one end 60a thereof is rotatably connected to the music score plate 40 and a body-side connection part 62 at the other end 60b is connected movably to a guideway 51 of a guide member 50 of a body part 10; and a sound board 30 which has an opening part 33 to which the supporting rod 60 is penetrated and is arranged between the music score plate 40 and a guide member 50. When the music score plate 40 is in a falling state, the body side connection part 62 of the supporting rod 60 is arranged rearward and downward rather than to the side of the music score plate-side connection part 61 based on the rotation supporting point 41, and a stop part 55 in the falling state which stops the body side connection part 62 provided in the guide part 50 is located rearward rather than to a rear end of the opening part 33.
