<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire correct information for resetting a channel without adding any original function to an AP. <P>SOLUTION: In the wireless LAN system, an STA includes: a scan part which acquires information on peripheral APs by carrying out scan processing when setting up a link with an AP being present inside a wireless LAN network for connection; and a memory management part for storing in a memory information on an AP being present inside a wireless LAN network different from the wireless LAN network for connection, among acquired AP information items, as information on an external AP for a connection channel of the AP to set up the link therewith. A controller includes: a collection part for collecting information on external APs from the STA; a determination part for determining presence/absence of interference from the external AP for each connection channel being used at present by the AP based on the collected information on the external AP; and an output part for outputting the information on the external AP, that is an interference source, if there is a connection channel for which presence of interference is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
