The method involves assembling metal planar plates (54) to be deformed to separate the plates locally to form several cavities of a cellular structure between the plates. The cavities are delimited by several facets and several partitions formed by the deformed plates. An opening is produced on the facets of the plates. An acoustically resistive plate is pressed against the surface of the cellular structure having the openings. An independent claim is included for an acoustic treatment panel.
