DAMPER CLUTCH FOR TORQUE CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A damper clutch of a torque converter is provided to reduce manufacturing costs as the clutch comprises first and second damper springs with high strength only. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of damper spring assemblies is placed around a central point at regular distances. The damper spring assemblies comprise first and second strong damper springs(34,36), and end plates. The first strong damper spring has a free length. The second strong damper spring is inserted into the first strong damper spring. The second strong damper spring comprises first to fourth springs(36a-36d). The end plates are connected to both ends of the second strong damper spring.
