PURPOSE: A device for setting an insert tip of a milling cutter is provided to minimize an additional grinding work by evening the cutting cross section of a workpiece through rapidly arranging the insert tip to the correct position. CONSTITUTION: A device for setting an insert tip of a milling cutter comprises a combining protrusion(31), a stepped unit(32), a setting plate(33), and a handle unit(34). Three or more penetration holes are formed on the setting plate of an insert tip arranging unit(3) in a radial shape. A plate for controlling the height is formed in the insert tip arranging unit. A screw groove corresponding to the penetration hole is formed on the lower surface and is connected by a bolt through corresponding the internal diameter of the plate for controlling the height to the internal diameter of the stepped unit and corresponding the external diameter to the external diameter of the setting plate.
