Laundry washing and drying machine (1) comprising: an outer boxlike casing (2); a hollow washing tub (3); an air-duct assembly (9) attached onto the washing tub (3) and which comprises a tubular body (12), comprising two lateral walls (12d), and an air-heating device (13) housed inside the tubular body (12). The air-heating device (13) comprises at least one coil-shaped resistor bar (22) extending inside the tubular body (12) and comprising one or more intermediate branches (22a) and two opposite side branches (22b) each of which is interposed between the intermediate branches (22b) and a respective one of the lateral walls (12d) of the tubular body (12). The air-duct assembly (9) comprises a supporting assembly (20) for the at least one coil-shaped resistor bar (22). The supporting assembly (20) comprises two retaining elements (26) each of which is faced/aligned to a respective side branch (22b) of the coil-shaped resistor bar (22) and is shaped/structured to reach and retain the corresponding side branch (22b) of the coil-shaped resistor bar (22) in such a way to be locally interposed between the body of the resistor bar (22) and the adjacent lateral wall (12d) of the tubular body (12), each retaining element (26) being fixed to the tubular body (12).
