The invention relates to a method for producing a film, comprising the following steps: a) a substrate layer made of an organic polymer material is produced, b) a paint cover layer is applied to the substrate layer, wherein the paint cover layer contains a cross-linkable binder, c) the combination of the substrate layer and the paint cover layer is subjected to a drying step and/or a first cross-linking step, d) an imprinting step, in which a topography is imprinted in the paint cover layer, optionally occurs, and e) a second cross-linking step occurs following step c) or d). The invention further relates to films that can be obtained by means of such a method and to security documents and/or value documents containing such films. |
