A door lock device of a washing machine is provided to open and close a door easily by minimizing friction between a door latch and a door switch and to prevent friction noise in an operation thereof. A door lock device of a washing machine comprises a door(10), a door latch(14), and a door switch(40). The door opens and closes a laundry insertion port of the washing machine. The door latch is installed at the door. The door switch is installed at the washing machine to tighten and release the door latch. At least one coating layer(150) is formed at the door latch or a door switch. The coating layer is formed at a whole surface of the door latch. The door latch includes a hook(15) and a handle(16). The hook is hung and released by the door switch. The handle rotates the hook. |
