PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking the welding fail and welding missing of a stud bolt is provided to accurately check the welding fail and welding missing of all stud bolts by preventing physical damage to a screw thread of each stud bolt welded to a vehicle panel. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for checking the welding fail and welding missing of a stud bolt includes a checker body(31), a servo motor(43), a ball screw(40), a load cell(41), a stud pusher(33) for pushing the stud bolt, and a control part. A guide rail(34) is arranged on the bottom of the checker body. An air cylinder moving a slide block(32) mounted on the guide rail forward and backward is installed in the end of the guide rail. The servo motor has a pulley arranged in an orthogonal direction to the operation direction of the air cylinder in the slide block. The ball screw is arranged in parallel to the servo motor and horizontally moves along a guide rail(42) through the belt combination of an adjacent pulley(39). The load cell is installed on the ball screw. The stud pusher for pushing the stud bolt is arranged on the load cell. The control part determines the welding state of the stud bolt by comparing the load weight value detected by the load cell with a preset reference value. [Reference numerals] (35) Cable |
