Bearing cage and bearing cage segment

The cage or segment has surfaces (2) whose selected part is made of selected material i.e. perfluorooctyl trichlorosilane, with lipophobic and/or oleophobic property. The selected material with the lipophobic and/or oleophobic property is arranged outside of a cage pocket. Surface areas (4) of non-lipophobic material are limited to two opposite sides of the selected material to cause a directed lubricant transportation along the surface areas. The surface areas are made of material different from the selected material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a bearing cage or a bearing cage segment for a roller bearing.
