SEPARATOR AND FUEL CELL WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE: A fuel cell is provided to improve battery performance and effectively remove water, by uniformly distributing reaction gas on the whole reaction side, by a separator with a metal porous material molded on a cooling plate. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell(100) comprises a membrane-electrode assembly(10) which has first and second electrode layers(13,15) on both sides of an electrolytic membrane; first and second gas diffusion layers(40,50) which are formed on the first and second electrode layers, respectively; a first metal porous material(60) which supplies first reaction gas to the first electrode layer through the first gas diffusion layer; a second metal porous material(70) which supplies second reaction gas to the second electrode layer through the second gas diffusion layer; and a cooling plate(80) with a cooling channel(81). The first and/or second metal porous material is formed on the cooling plate in one body.
