METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CONNECTOR HAVING A NARROW-PITCH CONTACT GROUP AND CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a connector having a narrow-pitch contact group and the connector are provided to easily manufacture the connector by bending at least one connection part of a first and a second contact assembly. CONSTITUTION: Contacts are offset in the thickness direction of a carrier(13,23) by bending at least one connecting part(12,22) of a first and a second contact assembly(10,20). The carriers are overlapped. The contacts are separated from each other in the same plane. The first and the second contact assembly are combined. The connecting part is cut off after the contacts are integrated. The integrated contacts are collectively inserted into a shell.
