PURPOSE: A method for automatic chest compression and defibrillation and an apparatus thereof are provided to grasp the state of a patient and to reflect the resistance value of a body. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatic chest compression and defibrillation comprises a step of obtaining resistance value and ECG signal of a body from a pad unit(110) attached to chest, a step of measuring a pulse or pulse pressure from the ECG signal, a step of pressurizing chest by a chest pressurizing device(130), a step of charging a capacitor, and a step of defibrillating chest.
