摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling power of a hybrid vehicle is provided to increase driving performance and riding comfort by obtaining a response rate with regard to a required engine torque, and to improve excellent fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling power of a hybrid vehicle comprises a step of detecting that an engine is in a partial load state capable of controlling torque by being operated; a step of initiating a timer and obtaining an available torque of the engine when the engine is in a the partial load state; a step of detecting the timer is over a preset time; and a step of controlling torque of the engine to zero when the timer exceeds the preset time.
