PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display map information desired by a user in an easy-to-see mode even if a plurality of display screens are presented. SOLUTION: In a portable terminal 20, a control means 201 displays a map in a first display area of a display means 204 around a display start point setting the current position acquired by a position acquiring means 203 or point information received from an operation inputting means 205 as the display start point. When scrolling is detected, a display control means 210 performs control so that a map around a point indicated by an indicating cursor is displayed in the first display area, and also that coordinates of the display start point and the point indicated by the indicating cursor which are calculated by a coordinates calculation means 208 are displayed in a second display area while the area information corresponding to the first display area is calculated based on a conversion ratio calculated by a conversion ratio calculation means 209, and displays the information in the second display area.
