<p>The invention relates to a kit for determining the week of pregnancy, comprising: a testing device having a porous absorbent carrier comprising a first region, which is impregnated with a first specific binding partner, which binds to human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and which is freely movable in the carrier when the carrier is moist, and comprising a second region as a detection zone, which has a second specific binding partner, which is immobilized on the carrier and which binds to hCG, wherein the first specific binding partner is marked with a dye or can be marked with a dye that is impregnated downstream of the first area on the carrier in such a way that the dye can be mobilized in the moist state; and a color scale for visual color comparison, wherein a certain hCG concentration of the sample to be examined or week of pregnancy is associated with the individual colors of the scale.</p> |
