#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves conveying objects in a conveying direction (F) on a main conveying path (13) into target assemblies i.e. rows, that are formed by the objects, where the rows extend transverse to the conveying direction. An incomplete object arrangement with defects is discharged on an auxiliary conveying path (15). The target assemblies are formed from the objects forming the incomplete arrangement.
