PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of constantly and correctly absorbing an impact on a driver when a large impact is applied to a vehicle body by stabilizing the deflection deformation of a cable. SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device comprises a steering shaft 12 which is connected to a steering wheel and turned around the axis by the turn of the steering wheel, a turning shaft connected to a turning wheel to turn the turning wheel by the turn around the axis, a flexible cable 31 to connect the steering shaft to the turning shaft in a power transmitting manner, and a steering column 41 which is supported by a vehicle body, and supports the steering shaft 12 in a non-displaceable manner in the axial direction and turnably around the axis. When a large impact is applied to the vehicle body such as in a collision of the vehicle, the steering column 41 is detached from the vehicle body and displaced forwardly together with the cable 31. The cable 31 is displacement-regulated by a stopper part 31b1, and deflection-deformed in a cable housing 52 to absorb the impact in a collision of a driver on the steering wheel.
