SPROKET FOR CHAIN AND DESIGNING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A sprocket for a chain and a design method thereof are provided to improve machining accuracy, and to compensate a weight of processing equipment using the chain by regularly maintaining power applied to both ends of the chain. CONSTITUTION: A chain wraps an arc surface of outer periphery in a sprocket for the chain, and a plurality of teeth is installed on the outer periphery. A design method of the sprocket comprises as follows. A center angle(delta) of the arc surface is determined. A sprocket teeth number n is determined so that a ratio of F1/F2 in an equation 1 comes close to 1.
