SYSTEM OF RECOGNIZING CONTENTS USING BINARY FINGERPRINTS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A content recognizing system using binary feature points and a method thereof are provided to improve the performance of a system by extracting binary feature points in various calculation methods and generating final binary feature points through a vote process. CONSTITUTION: A database(100) stores binary feature points for content search. A content recognizing unit(210) normalizes an input content and applies different calculation methods to the normalized content to calculate feature values. The content recognizing unit compares the feature values with threshold values to extract binary feature points and extracts final binary feature points from the binary feature points. The content recognizing unit searches the database for content information including the final binary feature points.
