A mobile terminal having a scroll wheel is provided to control a rotation angle of a scroll wheel easily corresponding to an event generation position with respect to a corresponding function by providing a tactile sensation to each event generation position. A scroll wheel(100) is mounted on a body and selects and/or executes a function. A rotor(130) includes an event generating unit configured to reflect or shield light emitted by an optical sensor(113). An operating body(120), to which the rotor is rotatably combined, includes one or more cleaning members(200) to remove debris attached to the event generating unit. The cleaning member includes a body combined to one surface of the operating body and a cleaning unit formed on a surface contacting with the event generating unit. The rotor includes one or more discharge holes(136) for discharging debris removed by the cleaning member. |
