PURPOSE: A small cell base station in a small cell environment, a portable terminal, and a location information providing method thereof are provided to enable a user to effectively obtain the location information even if a user is not able to receive the signal of a GPS(Global Positioning System). CONSTITUTION: A location information acquisition unit(1000) acquires the location information of a small cell base station. A location information providing unit(1002) estimates the location of a portable terminal by using the location information of a small cell base station and by providing the location information of the small cell base station to the portable terminal. The location information providing unit provides the location information of the small cell base station to the portable terminal through a transmission and reception antenna related to the portable terminal.
