DRAIN VALVE APPARATUS AND AIR SEPERATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A drain valve device and an air separator using the same are provided to efficiently remove moisture, foreign substances, and oil included in compressed air and to separately discharge the moisture, the foreign substances, and the oil from the compressed air. CONSTITUTION: An air separator comprises a main body(100), an oil filter(200), an outer body(300), and a drain valve device(400). The main body comprises an upper cover(110) and a cooling shaft(120). The upper cover comprises a cooling fin(14) and an air outlet(112). The cooling shaft is extended from the upper cover and comprises a cooling screw(122) on an outer circumference. The oil filter is connected to the lower part of the cooling shaft along a longitudinal direction and comprises an emission hole. The outer body is connected to the upper surface of the outer body and the upper cover of the main body and comprises an air inlet(310) and a cooling pin(320). The drain valve device comprises a drain body(410) and a drain valve(500). The drain body comprises an inside separated fluid discharge path and a drain valve moving path. The drain valve is inserted into the drain valve moving path and connects the inside separated fluid discharge path and an outside separated fluid discharge path.
