PURPOSE: An engine torque compensation method according to the ethanol concentration change of an FFV(Flexible Fuel Vehicle) is provided to appropriately compensate a torque change which is generated in an engine according a change of ethanol concentration, where the change of the ethanol concentration arises since different kinds of fuel, which are supplied to an engine of the FFV, change the fuel concentration when the fuel is refueled to the FFV. CONSTITUTION: An engine torque compensation method according to the ethanol concentration change of an FFV comprises the following steps. Ethanol concentration in fuel which is supplied to engine is calculated(S20). A driver demand torque is calculated based on an opening rate of a throttle valve according to accelerator pedaling by a driver(S30). A torque compensation factor according to the throttle valve opening degree and the ethanol concentration is calculated(S40). A final torque compensation factor is produced by multiplying the torque compensation factor, which is calculated at the step(S40) of calculating the concentration compensation factor, by the driver demand torque which is calculated at the step(S30) of calculating the demand torque(S50).
