PURPOSE: A femto base station gateway and a driving method thereof are provided to be driven as an X2 interface between a macro base station and a femto base station. CONSTITUTION: An X2 interface(223) executes X2 communication. An S1 interface(225) executes S1 communication. An X2 cache(227) stores an X2 response message received through the X2 interface. When an X2 request message is received through the X2 interface, the X2 interface transmits the X2 response message stored in the X2 cache.
