WIRE-ROD DESCALING APPRATUS

PURPOSE: A device for descaling of a wire rod is provided to effectively remove a scale of a wire rod surface by spraying a slurry(a polishing slurry) mixing water and an abrasive on the surface of the wire rod. CONSTITUTION: A device for descaling of a wire rod comprises a slurry injection unit(110) and a slurry supply facility. The slurry injection unit removes at least a scale of a wire rod surface by spraying a slurry(S) towards a wire rod transferred. The slurry supply facility is connected to the slurry injection unit. A pre-straining die(130) is provided to an upstream of the slurry injection unit, and induces at least a scale cracking by passing the wire rod.
