PURPOSE: An opening type falling rock preventing device is provided to enable a connection plate and a fixing plate from being stably connected and to prevent a connection unit from being damaged by dispersing load on the whole of a fixing frame and a post. CONSTITUTION: An opening type falling rock preventing device comprises a connection plate(230), a fixing plate(150), and a connection bolt. A plurality of the connection plates is connected to a post(200) and comprises a first mounting hole, a first body unit, and a first attachment unit. The fixing plate is connected to a fixing frame(100) and comprises a second mounting hole. The fixing plate integrally comprises a second body unit, a second attachment unit, and a strut. The connection bolt is inserted by penetrating the first and second mounting holes of the connection plate and the fixing plate.
