<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and its control method, and a program that can perform communication employing T.38 protocol by use of an SIP server which does not correspond with T.38 protocol. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device 100 transmits a session establishment request to establish session with a destination device using voice as a medium type to an SIP server, obtains the address of the destination device from a response transmitted by the SIP server, disconnects the established session with the destination device, transmits a session establishment request to communicate with the destination device using an image as the medium type to the destination device with the use of the obtained address, and transmits image data to the destination device by the established session with the destination device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
