<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater which detects abnormality of a mixing valve during waiting for hot water supply if the mixing valve fails. <P>SOLUTION: A water heater controller is composed of the mixing valve 1 for mixing hot water with water, a drive means 2 for driving the mixing valve 1, a drive current detection means 3 which are serially connected to the drive means 2, and a controller 4 for controlling the drive means 2 and detecting a current value of the drive current detection means 3. The controller 4 controls the drive means 2 during waiting for hot water supply and detects a current value of the drive current detection means 3 at the same time, and then determines that abnormality occurs if the current value is not within a specified range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
