<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device emitting white light with high red reproducibility using a red phosphor, which is high in light emission intensity in a red wavelength region and high in total luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A red light emitting part 16 converts at least a part of near-ultraviolet light emitted from a near-ultraviolet LED chip 14 into red light by a red phosphor included inside of a second sealing material 15 to emit from the second sealing material 15. A light emitting device 10 converts a part of blue light emitted from a blue LED chip 12 into yellow light by a yellow phosphor included inside of a first sealing material 13. The light emitting device 10 emits white light from the first sealing material 13, the white light including the yellow light, at least a part of the remainder of the blue light emitted from the blue LED chip 12, and red light emitted from the red light emitting part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
